June 2026: Deeper agent capabilities

What's new in Simon AI

  • Upload files directly into Simon AI Chat. You can now attach images, spreadsheets, and documents to your conversations with the Insights Agent. Drop in a CSV to analyze, share a screenshot for context, or upload a brief — the agent reads and reasons over your files alongside your data. Learn more

  • Ask the agent to create and manage datasets. The Insights Agent can now browse your existing datasets, create new ones, and edit their configuration — all through chat. Describe the dataset you need in plain language and the agent handles the setup. Learn more

  • Content Agent: smarter, more reliable template editing. The Content Agent now validates templates against your real contact data — not just syntax — so errors are caught before they reach your inbox. It correctly resolves your personalization fields, handles missing data gracefully, understands included content blocks, and works reliably with large, complex templates. Learn more

  • Trigger campaigns on live events. The Moment Agent now supports live event moments — configure triggers based on real-world events like concerts, sports games, or local happenings and attach them to Journeys. Learn more

  • Agent asks for approval before taking action. Creating a segment, dataset, or other object through chat now requires your explicit confirmation. The agent presents what it plans to do and waits for your go-ahead before making changes. Learn more

New integrations

  • Movable Ink Da Vinci channel now available in Flows. Send audiences to Movable Ink Da Vinci via SFTP directly from Activate Flows. Configure your Da Vinci connection as a channel action and start syncing segments for personalized creative. Learn more

Improvements

  • Smarter join discovery when building pipelines. When the agent builds a pipeline, it now automatically discovers the best join path between your tables. Once created, pipelines link back to the originating chat thread for easy reference.

  • Improved CSV exports for lookups. Lookup CSV exports are now available for all-time data and served faster. When something goes wrong, error messages now explain what happened instead of failing silently.

  • Content agent understands included blocks. The content agent can now read, validate, and link to included content blocks in your templates, giving it fuller context when generating or editing content. Learn more

Fixed

  • Segment creation no longer shows as failed. Resolved an issue where successfully created segments would display a "Failed" status in the agent chat. Segment creation results now reflect the correct outcome.

  • Clearer Jinja error messages. Template syntax errors now show specific, actionable details about what went wrong instead of a generic error, making it easier to fix personalization issues.
