Simon AI Agents & Skills

Simon AI Agents & Skills is the operator's view of Simon AI — the specialized agents that do the work behind every chat in Simon AI Personalization Studio. Each agent solves a different type of marketing problem, accessed through a single conversational interface in AI Studio > Chats, and able to take direct action in the platform: creating segments, drafting content, building AI Fields, and configuring moments without requiring you to leave the chat.

How agents work

Each agent operates as a skill within AI Studio > Chats. When you start a conversation, Simon routes your request to the appropriate agent based on context, or you can select a specific agent directly from the chat interface.

Agents take action, not just answer questions

Simon's agents don't just surface information. They can create segments, draft content, build AI Fields, and configure moments, all from within the chat. You review and confirm before anything is applied.

Skills

Each agent has access to Skills: specialized knowledge modules the agent loads on demand when your question requires it. For example, if you ask about campaign attribution, the agent automatically loads its Reporting skill before responding. You don't manage or invoke skills directly; the agent selects the right one based on what you're asking.

Why Simon's agents outperform general-purpose AI

If you've used Claude, ChatGPT, or another general-purpose model, you've seen what a capable LLM can do. Simon's agents are built on the same underlying models, but they're fundamentally different tools for marketing work, because of what sits between the model and your data.

Working inside a Project

When you open a chat from within a Project, all agents automatically use the Project's goal as context. You don't need to restate your campaign objective — the agent already knows what you're working toward. Your organization's AI Context settings are also applied automatically, keeping agents aligned with your brand voice and data conventions.
