April 2026: Simon AI Personalization Studio is generally available

Simon AI Personalization Studio is now generally available

Simon AI Personalization Studio is now available to every organization on the composable platform. Plan, build, and launch personalized campaigns from a single chat, without the tickets, tool switching, and team handoffs of traditional campaign workflows.

The Studio brings together everything you build with Simon AI in one conversational surface:

  • Chats — A single conversation handles data exploration, segment building, AI Field creation, content generation, and campaign launch. The chat shares context across agent capabilities, so you move from question to audience to campaign without restating your goal.
  • Projects — Goal-based workspaces that organize campaign assets, AI conversations, and business context around a single objective. Every chat started from a Project inherits the goal, audience constraints, and brand guidelines automatically.
  • AI Moments — Weather conditions and viral cultural moments translated into precise, marketer-ready triggers.
  • AI Personas — Behavioral customer clusters discovered automatically from your warehouse data, ready for segmentation and activation.
  • AI Fields — Custom attributes generated from your data — product affinities, predicted intent, behavioral scores.
  • AI Context — Persistent business knowledge that makes every AI interaction relevant from the start.

Open it from the AI menu and try it on the campaign you're planning this week. Read more in the Simon AI Personalization Studio overview.

Tier availability

Most of the Studio is included in the Simon AI core platform. AI Personas and Social Trend Moments are part of the Simon AI Enrichment tier and are priced separately. Reach out to your Account Manager if you have any questions.

New integrations

  • Movable Ink Da Vinci — Send contact, transaction, and product files to Movable Ink Da Vinci over SFTP to power AI-orchestrated email campaigns. Supports PGP encryption end-to-end. The Da Vinci action is available in journeys.
  • Rokt — Sync segment membership tags to Rokt as user attributes for use in Rokt's e-commerce engagement and offer-targeting platform.

Action Panel: Data Quality

The Action Panel now includes a Data Quality tab that surfaces datastore fields with known problems: duplicate join keys, broken views, permission errors, missing columns, analysis timeouts, and join-key configuration issues. Each error group shows the platform impact and the recommended next step, so you can resolve issues before they affect segments, flows, or syncs.

You can also subscribe to Data Quality Alerts in Alerts & Status → Alert Preferences to be notified by email or Slack when a field enters a problem state. See Notifications and Alert History for setup.

Improved

  • AI Chat: tool approval for segment changes — Before the chat creates or edits a segment on your behalf, an approval card asks you to confirm the change.
  • AI Chat management experience — Includes chat deletion and feedback, dynamic page titles, case-insensitive search, navbar auto-collapse, and many context-panel UX improvements.
  • AI Moments details pages — Refined details pages for Weather and Social Moments, persisted approved trends, and improved scoring.
  • Account Roles for hybrid organizations — Hybrid orgs now follow the same roles model as composable, automated end-to-end.
  • Semantic typescontact_profile and esp_engagement semantic types added to the sync allow-list.
  • PII auto-tagging — Datastores now have PII fields tagged automatically by an LLM-based classifier; PII fields are excluded from sample-value enrichment statistics.

Fixed

  • Composable segment details pages no longer error when a property references a removed datastore.
  • Lookup-extract alerts and Action Panel links now work for composable organizations.
  • Project UX: corrected label and refreshed index to prevent duplicate Project creation.
