Setting Segment KPIs
Self-Service KPIs
Self-Service KPIs are available to all Composable customers.
No support ticket required — just flip the switch!
Overview
Create your own KPIs to track performance metrics that matter most to your business — and view them directly within your Simon segments. Whether it’s lifetime value, days since last order, or another key customer metric, Self-Service KPIs let you choose your own field, aggregation, and visualization method.
What used to require a support ticket is now entirely self-service.
How It Works
From any page in Simon:
- Navigate to KPIs under the Segments tab.
- Click Create KPI in the top-right.
- Give your KPI a name (e.g., "90-Day LTV").
- Select the field you want to aggregate (e.g.,
ltv_90_days
). - Choose your aggregation type (e.g., average, count, sum).
- Choose your visualization method (e.g., table, bar, line).
- Preview your KPI directly on the setup page.
- Click Save.
Your new KPI will automatically appear in the Metrics tab on any Segment page.
KPIs are only supported on ONE_TO_ONE_ATTRIBUTES fields from your composable datastore.
