Overview

Use your existing HubSpot account to send transactional emails and enroll contacts in automation workflows from your Simon journeys. Combine Simon's rich customer profiles and segmentation with HubSpot's marketing tools to drive personalized, targeted experiences at scale.

Authentication

Simon connects to HubSpot via OAuth, so you don't need to manage API keys.

Pre-requisites

• A HubSpot account with permission to install integrations.
• Permission to read and write contacts, lists, automation workflows, and transactional email in HubSpot.

Authenticate in Simon

1. From the left navigation, expand Admin Center, then click Integrations.
2. Scroll to HubSpot, then click Add.
3. You'll be redirected to HubSpot to authorize Simon. Sign in to HubSpot if prompted, then choose the HubSpot account you want to connect and click Connect app.
4. After authorizing, you'll be redirected back to Simon. A successful connection displays Connected in green.

Refreshing your connection

Simon automatically refreshes your HubSpot access token before it expires. If your connection ever shows as disconnected, return to Admin Center > Integrations and click Edit on the HubSpot tile to re-authenticate.

Actions

After authenticating, add a HubSpot action to a journey. The following actions are available:

• Send Single Email to Contact — send a transactional email using a HubSpot template.
• Add Contact To Automation Workflow — enroll contacts into a HubSpot automation workflow, optionally updating contact properties first.
